A gift in your will and in memory
Your generosity can help rewrite the course of a family’s life – helping them to break the cycle of domestic abuse and give their baby the best start in life.
Remembering The For Baby’s Sake Trust in your will or in someone’s memory with a gift, large or small, can leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
There are three ways to make a gift to The For Baby’s Sake trust in your will:
Residuary gift
You could choose to leave a share, or the whole, of what is left in your estate once you have provided for your loved ones and all other payments have been made.
Pecuniary gift
You can gift the Trust a fixed amount of money. If you choose to leave a gift in this way, please be aware that its value may reduce over time in line with inflation.
Specific gift
You can donate an item of value to the Trust, such as jewellery or property, which will support families, babies, and children.
To leave a gift in your will
If you’ve already made a will but would like to make a gift to The For Baby’s Sake Trust, you can do so by making a simple addition to your existing will. This small amendment is called a codicil.
If you’ve not already made a will and would like to make a gift to The For Baby’s Sake Trust in your will, the following wording could be used:
“I give [XXX] to The For Baby’s Sake Trust (Registered Charity 1126459), of 1B Meadway Court, Rutherford Close, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, SG1 2EF, for its general charitable purposes. I declare that the receipt of the CEO or other proper officer of The For Baby’s Sake Trust shall be a full and sufficient discharge for the said legacy.”
If you choose to use your own wording, please be sure to use our full address and registered charity number: The For Baby’s Sake Trust (Registered Charity 1126459), of 1B Meadway Court, Rutherford Close, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, SG1 2EF.

- Asking family and friends to donate to The For Baby’s Sake Trust in lieu of funeral flowers
- Making a gift to The For Baby’s Sake Trust in memory of friends or family members
