The For Baby’s Sake Trust is delighted to announce that Elliott Rae has joined us as an Ambassador.
Elliott Rae is one of the UK’s most prominent writers and speakers on fatherhood and masculinity, and his work has transformed how we think and talk about dads, parenting, and gender equality. Elliott created the Parenting Out Loud culture change programme, which has revolutionised the national conversation about working fathers. Parenting Out Loud supports employers to build workplace cultures where dads can be loud and proud about their caring responsibilities, while also providing a thriving community for fathers who want to do things differently.
As an author, Elliott curated the bestselling book DAD, bringing together the voices and stories of fathers in all their diversity. As a presenter, he fronted the landmark BBC One documentary Becoming Dad. Elliott also co-hosts the hit podcast To Be a Boy with Joeli Brearley, founder of Pregnant Then Screwed. The podcast has become one of the UK’s most listened-to parenting podcasts.
Alongside his media and publishing work, Elliott is a respected commentator and advocate. Before dedicating his career to fatherhood and masculinity, Elliott held senior DEI roles in large organisations, most notably as Head of DEI Delivery at HM Treasury. His leadership and advocacy have been recognised nationally and internationally. In recent years, he was awarded an MBE for his work supporting new dads and honoured by the United Nations as #HeForShe Change Maker of the Year by UN Women UK.
At The For Baby’s Sake Trust, Elliott Rae will bring his voice, expertise and platform to raise awareness about our mission to break cycles of domestic abuse and give babies the best start in life.

Over the past decade, the Trust has achieved transformative results by supporting thousands of parents to break intergenerational cycles of domestic abuse, creating brighter futures for their babies. However, much work remains to be done to address the pervasive impact of domestic abuse on babies and children. The Trust views this anniversary as an opportunity to both celebrate progress and share its goal for every family in the UK to have access to support to break cycles of domestic abuse and give their babies the best start in life.
We look forward to working with Elliott as we continue to drive cultural change, empower parents, and build brighter futures for the next generation.
