Announcing New Funding for Our Innovative Domestic Abuse Programme in London
We are thrilled to announce that The For Baby’s Sake Trust has received vital funding from City Bridge Foundation to help reach more families impacted by domestic abuse in London. This funding is a significant boost as we work towards scaling delivery of For Baby’s Sake throughout London, supporting parents to break the cycle of domestic abuse and give their baby the best start in life.
Domestic abuse can have a devastating impact on families, and babies exposed to domestic abuse are at serious risk of harm. For Baby’s Sake works with both parents – the person using abusive behaviour and the person experiencing abuse – to reduce harm, address trauma, develop healthier relationships, and build a positive future for their children. By starting during pregnancy and continuing until the child is aged two, we provide the long-term support that families need.

With the generous support of City Bridge Foundation, we will be able to expand our reach across London, building on our work with families in Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, Ealing, Brent and Haringey, and providing more families with the tools and support they need to heal and thrive. This funding is a crucial step in reducing the number of babies in London born into homes impacted by domestic abuse, providing long-term safety and security.
Our work is rooted in the belief that we can break cycles of domestic abuse, and that every baby should be born into an environment where they can feel safe, loved, and supported. Thanks to this new funding, we can take meaningful steps towards making that vision a reality for more families across the capital.
